I guess not the most obvious Ducati to race, but maybe I have been missing him in this class as I don't go to many club races nowdays. He did well at Mallory Park today, I think 4th in Earlystocks, leading at one point. I think 2nd in the next race against a field of GSXR's & FZ yams ( but won by a VFR750 ). My 750 did and AFAIK the earlier 906’s, Fireblade’s share the same size front wheel. From memory I had Michelin’s on my 750.
I bought a 906 to break for the engine for a race bike around 1991. I think it had 16" f/r same as the early 750 sport. I seem to remember the 907ie went to 17 f/r to match the rest of the range.
