Right folks does anyone have a 996 standard clutch slave and a clutch master kicking about ???????? I'm getting very fackin pissed off now !!!!!!!!!
Which year is it as if you interested I got Oberon one but do not have the push rod extender needed for some older models (not even certain it was ever needed for 996).
Word of caution it does change feel of clutch very much, so much that some love it others well do not no inbetween.
Did not notice you replied. If you still want it 50 GBP + postage. It was never used, is black but has no box and two dings in anodising hence got it discounted a while back and picked up as spare. I also have stock ducati one from 900ss knocking about. The slave fits all just older models had shorter pushrod (no idea if also 996 but my 1993 m900 did) so there is a spacer or you get new type push rod like I did for monster.
think he has sorted Lucasz - pushrod was marginally too short and probably disguised until clutch plates wore down slightly.
Hey folks ........ It was still giving me probs so I've removed one of the plain plates ( the two metal at the back of the clutch pack ) I suspect that the stack was too high and the rod too short , will removing a plate have any listing effect ??? The lever is at the posn four the other three feels shite and the biting point is quite far out ...so will the grub screw at the lever sort this ?????? Been out for a blast today with no real issues apart from that ......
