Abs Light

  1. If your ABS light doesn’t go off once you’re moving is this a MOT fail on a 2015 bike, I know for earlier bikes it’s a pass with the light showing.

  2. @cookster will confirm but I believe today, no longer matters what age the vehicle is. If the light is permanently on, it is a failure. Andy

  3. Hmm was this recent as my BMW passed 8 weeks ago with ABS flashing but I’ve an opportunity to purchase a bike with the ABS light on but it’s a 2015 model.

  4. as it stands there is NO requirement for abs lights or abs systems, basically as long as they work the electronics dont come into it (at the moment)
@Android853sp car mots need the abs light to come on and go off mate

  5. I had my EML come on last month during the mot. The tester said he should have failed it for that, don’t think the abs is a fail.

  6. Car or bike mate?

  7. the bike mate.
