The Ducati riding school has gained many admirers and received a great deal of acclaim when it hosted its first event outside of the company's home country, Italy, last year. In November, the Ducati Riding Experience as it is known touched down in the UAE and Abu Dhabi to be more specific. Amid the dusty landscape and the cooler than usual temperatures, 54 riders got the chance to experience the 1199 Panigale S Superbike first hand and take it around the Yas Marina Circuit. The 9 instructors that took part in the event had a whopping 8 world championships between them in addition to a whole host of national championships and awards so riders were getting the cream of the crop as it were when it came to tuition. Indeed, the 54 riders that took part in the November event last year came from all over the globe and some of the countries included UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Italy, Russia, Kazakstan and Switzerland to mention a few so Ducati really put on a global affair. The riders received both one on one tuition in addition to being taken in groups and were allowed to take part in six on-track sessions with the 1199 S. The majority of participants commended that the track and layout at the Yas Marina was the perfect compliment to the powerful 195bhp Super Quadra engine that is found in the 1199 Panigale S. So with a successful first stint outside of Italy, Ducati has decided to renew the event for 2013. This once in a life time event is mainly meant to be aimed at those with considerable riding experience and participants are going to benefit greatly from the expert and world renowned knowledge of the Ducati specialists.
