Action shots suitable for framing.

  1. Do you get shots of yourself on the bike framed, I'm contemplating getting these two shots done as I'm impressed with the course photographers quality of piccies of me... Although for an A2 size black satin framed print it's £60,double that to £120 for the two and that's a wodge towards some tyres. And I've already bought these as a digital file just to get rid of the main copyright plastered all over em. Anybody have prints of themselves or do you consider that to be a bit bigheaded. ? 3. Those two digital files cost me £4 each ,£8 each if I wanted the high res ones. On a wall at home I have a montage of shots taken in my first year of comps, bought for me by the kids as a fathers day present. It's crap (first year competitor ,and it shows) but my kids bought it, so it stays. I really like these of all the shots this bloke has taken ,but can I justify that much, seems steep compared to your cost thumpa.

  4. if you have the files cant u try the local high street shops ,seem very expensive to me .

  5. +1

The quality will be just as good, the price a whole lot cheaper.

I have a couple of old track day photos on the 916 and glad I have them. Yup, framed. But only in my office (so only showing off to myself).

  6. Having photos framed from your own enjoyment isn't being big-headed, however posting them up here is.

  7. Point taken , I could have posted them in Trackday pics (not a trackday as such) and I am pleased with them so I spose I'm guilty as charged.

  8. There's nothing wrong with a bit of pride in ones achievements :upyeah:

  11. Any comment ET?

  12. I've used Peak Imaging (transfer to peak-imaging.com) to print out photos poster sized before. I've got one of me at Mallory Park on the UKMOC trackday as a poster on the garage wall, along with various action shots the other half has taken of rally cars (mostly Subarus).

  13. Where were the pics taken? Was it an event on Guernsey (name on the bottom of the pics)

  14. its not big headed when youve got the front wheel in the air like that mate...simply common sense.

  15. Yes new event, it's taken 30 yrs of trying for this event , you don't know how lucky you are to have so many tracks a van drive away, that's why I compete here.
I can get my fix without a speed limit , here it's 35 mph , so I dint even bother riding a bike on the road anymore.Trouble is the island is so small that there Are no long events.

  16. Great pics and you are right to have them framed up. Nothing wrong with a somebody taking pride in their achievements, even if its just popping a massive wheelie

  17. Glid that wheelie is intentional
