So I've tried to adjust the position of the gear lever on my 959. If I follow the instructions in the manual all they do is move the shift rod up and down, it doesn't lengthen or shorten it. So i removed the rearset and took the lever off and adjusted it to the required length. This however must of upset the angles or something as whilst it was now in the perfect spot for me, 1st gear was pretty hard to engage! Put it all back to standard and the gear selection issue is now fine but still back to the lever not quite being in the right spot for me! Am i missing something stupid or is it effectivley non adjustable?
