I've ordered an AEM gas cap: https://www.aem-factory.com/product/gas-tank-cap-endurance-2/ It should fit according to the guys at AEM. What I'm wondering is how I should install the tank cap? It seems to be 1cm smaller than the standard tank cap. Is this normal? Also the holes don't align with the standard holes. How do I proceed on this installation? I'm adding some pictures so you can see what I mean.
Looks like you have a cap for a Gen 1 & 2, 5 bolt fixing. Your bike is a 2019 onwards 1260, which is a 6 bolt fixing and different cap. CNC racing do a keyless cap for the 1260, looks really good, but a pain in the ass to fit, not difficult, just time consuming.
