hi all Got some Ti captive nuts the other day to replace the grubby looking ones for both the flange (M10) and sprocket M8. Took the carrier off the bike, fitted the M10 flange nuts, put the assembly back on the bike and started to fit the M8 sprocket nuts to the T bolts. This is when I realised the T bolts weren't up to much, shite monkey metal and even though I just torqued them to 25, they started to let go and get soft. I stopped there and started to undo the nut but the bolt sheared... Not good as each nut works out at about £7 and there are 5 of them. I know both the T bolt and nut use a 1.25 pitch so that's not the problem. Question is, are these T bolts the same for renthal/afam? Can't find any replacements on eBay and would rather buy them then spend an hour or so making some new ones. So far I've got 2 sheared bolts with the Ti nut stuck on. Going to try to drill the monkey metal out and see how it goes.. Thanks, Ian

Back off hols and straight to it. New stainless button head bolts cut down to size and opposite sides ground down to suit the sprocket carrier. Sheared bolts removed from the Ti nuts, nightmare! But job jobbed.
