Aftermarket Exhausts For An St3

Discussion in 'Sport Touring' started by Loverobot, Sep 25, 2014.

  1. Anyone got exhausts for an ST3 in decent condition? After something better sounding and freer flowing than stock
    Drop me a PM
    Nick

  2. Bump
    Still looking

  3. Trouble is there were to few ST3s sold, I'm always on the look out for some for mine. Every now and then a pair of Termis come up on eBay, the bidding is fierce and they go for crazy money.

  4. do ST4S exhaust fit ?

  5. I think the only difference is the diameter at the header, the same on ST2 ST3 and ST3s and larger on ST4 and ST4s

  6. Is it a difficult thing to get the headers modified to fit the st3? Cant imagine would be that hard but never looked into it

  7. we've made exhaust headers for ST2 and 4. Happy to look in to ST3 even if it's just to modify the outlets. PM if you want to discuss.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  8. I've got a brand new never been used standard set for an ST4.

  9. Sam - its specifically not standard I am after as want to free up motor/save weight/increase volume
    Thanks

  10. GPR do half decent silencers for the ST's. Fitted a couple of sets and they go on quite well. Good money to

  11. Thanks Nelly - I have been looking at them and wondering as not seen them on the road - will have a closer look

  12. I'm sure you'll understand that I'm hanging onto my Termi's, they sound great, recommend them though especially if your neighbours are deaf!

  13. I have a complete ST4S exhaust, plus Sil-Moto carbon silencers, that were on the bike that I bought for a project a couple of years ago if you're interested.

  14. Just got these on eBay, originally from a ST2 but fit my 2004 ST3 perfect. They are a bit loud might think about fitting the baffles.

  15. They look great
Have gone with Nellys suggestion - not yet fitted so will see

  16. They look fantastic and I would love some like that!

  17. Thanks, look even better fitted have only gone on a short run with them they're a bit loud ;) Will need to look at the ECU chip next but even so engine feels smoother. Hope to get that sorted over winter and chain and sprockets to drop gearing a bit. Should feel like a new bike.

Really glad I got the 2004 ST3, the later ST3s probably are better with suspension upgrades. But a rattly clutch and carbon exhaust certainly sounds like a proper Ducati :)
