I don't have any AGV dealers anywhere close so, I'm down to buying online which I am reluctant to do. However, I really want an AGV K6 helmet! How close is an AGV K6 MS (medium small) to a Shoei medium? The MS and ML appear to only differ by 1cm so, I'm wondering if a ML would be a better choice for me? I'm also responsive to other vendors if someone has had a good experience assuming they ship to the USA for a reasonable fee. TIA, Sid
You really need to try them. I find the AGV helmets a good fit on my head but I don’t like the chin area as I think it leaves my chin exposed. If you can have one delivered then return it if you don’t like it then that’s the way to go.
Agree with that. I have a Pista RR Speciale, which is absolutely lovely and the field of vision is incredible but it fits nothing like my Arai and Roof. Both of those are medium but the AGV is a small. I deliberately chose a tighter fit as it is for track use, but there should not be that much of a difference in the sizing. And yes, they do sit high on your head, which tbh is what I wanted as then the brow doesn't block my view up the track when in a tuck or hanging off, but it does leave my chinny chin chin poking out of the bottom a little bit.
Yes, I'd love to try one on and check the fit and shell shape but, that really isn't possible at the places within ~300 miles of where I live.
