Please can someone clear this issue up, I have seen posts saying it can't be done however I have seen threads and photos of it done. Can anyone shed the definitive answer please?
It cannot be done without modification. The socket of the Akrapovic end can is too short for the LV pipe and the hook arrangement. Two solutions, shorten the LV pipe by about 6mm or as I did, make up a strip of metal to go under the clamp on the can and drill a hole in the strip to go over the spigot on the pipe and use a jubilee clip to clamp it. There are pictures in a previous post on here. If push comes to shove I'm sure I have a piece of titanium which you can cut with tin snips and is thin enough to be worked under the clamps. Andy
