Sometime last century I got a lovely alloy clutch basket from JHP for my 748 along with a set of alloy plates whose tangs were wider than normal to present more surface area to the basket. Think they were DP parts but not sure... Fast forward (or back, really, kinda) to the SS project and I am looking for same. Who are the players these days in the world of alloy clutch baskets? Do the OEM plates come in alloy yet or still steel, necessitating some blingage in the plate dept too? What's out there / what do you recommend / who is doing a good deal?
