Hi folks. I'm selling my SMX Plus if anybody's interested. I'm looking for £100ish including postage but have them on eBay at the moment for 7 days. Alpinestars SMX Plus Sports Motorcycle Boot Size 45 (UK 10.5) Please note, the label says US 10.5 but that’s incorrect, an EU 45 is a UK 10.5 and a US 11.5. I’d say these suit a 10.5-11 foot as I’ve found them a touch too big and usually wear a 10-10.5 in shoes or trainers. These are the 2012 model of one of the best sports boots available on the market. I don’t believe this version of the SMX Plus is available anymore but the 2013/2014 version retails at £250 RRP. The boots are extremely comfortable and very protective while offering superb feel on the bike. There is a non-removable inner boot with speed laces and an outer shell that fastens by zip up the side and a ratchet around the calf to allow the fit to be adjusted. This opening system also allows for quite large legs (like mine!) and I was able to wear my Dainese trousers with the shin armour inside the boot and still close the boots securely. They have a few marks throughout from general use and there are some darker marks on the textured rubber areas which I have not been able to clean off due to the texture of this material. I have tried to show this in the photos. The boots are in perfect condition inside and out other than discolouration or marks from use. The laces, lining and all protective parts are in as new condition and the boots have been very well looked after. I am only selling these as I decided to treat myself to some new ones. Weird, it looks pink/purple in these pics. In the "flesh" it's more like "off white"... Anyway, it's my parents' spare room so nothing to do with me.
