just replaced my front, and probably only have 500miles or so left in my rear (2700miles on bike), so keep to find out if anyone has had good experience on alternate tyres with longer life or better wet weather performance? My bike spends 99% of its time in London commuter traffic come rain or shine....
I would suggest a sports touring tyre especially if you ride in all weathers, Just fitted Metz Z8 interacts on my K13 ,had the Z6 fitted on a K12 they were good But any of the top brands would be a good choice depending on how you like the bike set up
I put Michelin power 2ct on and they are great actually feel what the bikes doing 190 rear no probs ,I think as well as many I know the o/e tyres are shit for general road riding
I had Rosso Corsas fitted approximately 1500 miles ago and they have performed great, I've recently done a trip to the Nurburgring ( just over 1000 road miles) and there are no signs of squaring off with all that dual carrageway miles. They appear to warm up quite quickly and I've not had any moments with them either and lastly you get the rear in a 200 section tyre so don't have to deviate from manufactures recommendation on tyre size.
