many of us have fitted farkles to our now "ageing" bikes! it would be good to be able to see these all in one place. Just a thought? have recently fitted the carbon tank cover and SW crashbars
i'm not convinced myself tbh. They dont look so agricultural from a distance so the photos dont do them any favours. When my shoulder heals and I can actually get the bike out of the garage I will get some pics. here's the photo from their site
Sometimes it's worth sacrificing a little form in favour of function ;-) I've just added 'knee pad' tank protectors to mine, I prefer the look of the bike without them but you just have to compromise sometimes.
I have the clear ones fitted, I think they do a great job, and don't stand out to much, better than scuffing up the paintwork!!
I fitted these.....the material was developed for knee 'grip pads' for sportsbikes originally (similar to StompGrips) so hard wearing. TechSpec USA Boomer....indeed, found that out the hard way years ago, bit of grit stuck between your trousers and the tank =
+1 on the Tech Spec pads. I had them on my 748 and on my Beemers and can recommend them as being great for grip as well as protection. I also liked the look as well although some thought it a bit too 'prominent' especially on the 748. I guess it's 'eye of the beholder'. If my MTS hadn't come with the Ducati pads on I would definitely get the Tech Spec as they do less damage to your leathers/trousers than the Stomp Grip pads.
