Great, the more people like Dianne Abbott who are promoted to prominent positions the less electable Labour becomes, if it was ever in doubt.
I can`t think of many people that are more likely to stop people voting Labour than Diane Abbot. I`ve never agreed with the view that Dear Leader Jeremy is a nice guy , this kinder, gentler politics stuff is just nonsense but to appoint her as shadow home secretary is him either deliberately trying to lose support among the general public or he is stupid and can`t see what a liability she is. Or both.
It's not just sending her kid to private school. Diane Abbott condemned the Blairs in the most vitriolic terms for sending their children to a state school (sic) because it was partly selective, and then she sent her own kid to a private fee-paying school. Rarely have disloyalty and hypocrisy been combined so blatantly as in this case.
