Why is it these days all the adverts and continuity announcers have female voices that sound like six year old girls ? Do the advertisers and broadcasters assume that every viewer is a paedo?
It's either that, or they have a speech impediment. (That annoying woman on the Aldi advert going on about "Bwitish beef", and that dick on the ITV hub advert - "You'll be supwised..."). And none of them have any idea about intonation...
dont watch the adverts or kiddies progs ( unless they have a bickycle involved ) ,but WTF is it with all the " talk overs " nowadays , every other nature / historical etc prog has some sexy sounding ( in a librarian / pyhsics teacher esque way ) voice over ,, dumbed down or wht !!
Don't get me going on news announcers either..............Fiona Bruce for example..........talk about the Royal Shakespeare Company acting.....
Not really - I wouldn't want to buy anything from either : and the adverts have made me less likely to...
