Hi All, I'm an old man, living in the sticks between Bedford & Cambridge and have had a fair few bikes over the years. I've always liked the 800 S2R Monster, to my eye the prettiest Monster ever produced. When the opportunity arose I couldn't resist buying one. It's good condition but not immaculate and was incredibly cheap. What a thing of beauty it is, both to look at and to ride. I'm smitten, it's definitely a keeper. I've also got a 2018 KTM 1090 for touring and a 1970 Triumph Bonneville which I fully restored and slightly modified (single carb head amongst many other mods) to my own taste. I'm sure doing a desmo service will keep me entertained. It would be handy to know good sources of parts in the UK for it. I'll have a look on this forum. I'm sure this question will have been both asked and answered many times before. Welcome chess, I never thought I'd get to a mature age. Nor did many of my then mates but we made it past our thirties & fourties & I'll stop there.
