Sad to read this morning that the celebrity chef, TV presenter and author has been found dead in Strasbourg Really enjoyed his ‘No Reservations’ series.
aye, a mate was chatting about this last night, he was quite upset about it, the chefs chef apparently. a bit of a wild one in his youth.
Being a chef myself I’m gutted- he was a brilliant chef, author & presenter. Another star lost from the catering industry.
To anybody suffering from depression, you must read this book: 'Depressive Illness: The curse of the Strong' by Dr Tim Cantopher, and take his advice and get yourself on medication. I speak from personal experience of a 5 year battle, trying to go-it-alone does not work! G

I must confess as ET said...ive never heard of him until the other day....but then my culinary skills amount to Beans on toast and coco pops....and anything else that can be opened and then eaten...
Missus was given that one to read. Interesting book and well worth a read. Thankfully no need for meds with her, just needs to obsess less on the little details.
