We need the picture!!!. My dad will be able to tell you all you know. They did do they with disc brakes towards the end didn't they?

 

The Triumph Bonneville never had disc brakes until the 1973 model.

 

I think the picture was/is too risqué for these realms.

..... there's no oil under it !!

Doesn’t need a tray that previously White mat is just so absorbent

I have to admit this one is really oil tight, my other other two pre-units not so, the crank breather, the oil pressure valve on the timing cover, oil rocker feed pipes all produce misting which eventually drops on the floor, hey its British ...........
