Got the mot and brake sorted, struggling to find V5 to get taxed, but push comes to shove, I'll pay the £25 for a new one and get taxed on Friday lunch break. so, anybody out "up north" this Saturday? cheers, Pete
Maybe meet up at Ducati Manchester at say 11ish, have a shufty at their bikes n stuff, a quick coffee and then a few hours blatting around wherever? I can pick some clips up I left there last time I was in. need to be back around t-time as I have the kids from then.
Can't promise anything as yet, as we are expecting visitors for the weekend and I'm still waiting on what time they are expected to arrive, but I will deffo pencil it in. What about Sunday? Or is that taken with the kids?
Was in there yesterday afternoon n still no joy but in there in the morning, so it better be ready to go........'haha
Got lost trying o find DM, knew I shouldn't have trusted my memory! Got there around 12, had a brew and a chat with the guys in the parts dept (top fellas - found the clips I left there in September), and bought a top end gasket to hopefully cure the leak the bellends at Woods left me with. tried to the escape the congestion by taking random turns aimed at quaint sounding Cheshire villages, only to be met by more and more traffic. Fuelled up at a shell station and lost the back leaving the place due to excessive diesel spillage. the only time the bike dropped below 100C was on the motorway! so, bit of a crap ride (although will have lost a good few pounds in sweat), but at least I got her out and blew the cobwebs away. edit: oh, and the coffee machine was good initially, but then sort of exploded on somebody shortly after I had managed to down a brew.
