Just wondering if any actual UK owner has put their dvt on a dyno yet? I've read the stories on the US forum but personally I didn't notice any particular lag or drop in power across the range when I took one out, I always thought it was just US bikes until this morning I read the mcn review again and even they mentioned it. I presume the bike they had was UK spec so just curious. Also has anybody started the ball rolling with ecu tuning yet or is it too early?
144 HP at 8121 rpm highest so far on the Ducati App, that is with Termi Exhaust though, it has gone up since exhaust fitted, and not really tried since fitted
Couple of dvt test reviews/you tube dyno vids suggest 134-145 horses. Shame it's nowhere near the 160 Ducati crank claim. At least nee mess sx1000 is nearer - 150 from its 160 crank figure :-/
Im wondering if a decat, exhaust, air filter and remap will unleash it a little. Seems odd that any UK spec 2010-2014 gen bike can achieve 150+ at the wheel and the newer dvt couldn't. Surely its just an emissions thing?
I have put an exhaust on it, which had it own map, and it certainly feels different especially low down, so I guess it would
I think some get caught up in dyno power. Seems odd that they all make 150, which is probably 15hp up on std, but exactly what the book says the crank should be.... Reckon with a pipe, decat and mapping why not 160 rwhp?
Surely the cam drive is having to pull lots of extra weight etc, it's all gonna suck power. I bet the torque curve us nice though!
