1198 Anyone Fitted Non Race Air Intakes To Their Airbox?

In the quest for more power & remapping, changing the exhaust etc, I'm looking to improve the air flow into the engine & have mistakenly brought some race carbon air intakes (poorly advertised of course) for my 1198 & it looks a lot of work to modify them to fit within the fairing & in-fills.

Has anyone brought less restrictive intakes for their 848, 1098 or 1198 that fit as standard tubes? I don't want to try & modify mine or buy a standard set to modify.
