Hope they're OK, doesn't sound as though he'd be up to relying to this thread anyway if he was one of us. Things like that make you think. He was just minding his own business but was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A chap my dad knew walked out of the house just as the chimney pot was falling off the house, hit him square on. If he'd been just a second earlier or a second later it would have missed him. Maybe it was fate - scary!
I did the Essex Air Ambulance run from Ford Dunton to Harwich yesterday and when we stopped at the petrol station in Harwich for our return journey another biker mentioned this accident with the trailer and that it was at a roundabout. There was a small mention of the accident in the Sun newspaper today, doesn't sound good.
