  2. Not as well as you!!

  3. Kel tbh you got a dam good deal, I still got my 2014 with slight more mileage, and a hell of a lot more extras, was offered silly money tbh, offered more on we buy any bike, but I will sit on it hoping they will go up a little in price

  4. Kel, initially offered £10.500 but was upped to £11.000 later, same bike as yours but with less mileage.
MadProff what have you been offered ?

  5. mmmmm thought I did ok.... trouble is there's that many of them about now brings the price down. I wouldn't hold on for too long ...much as I love Ducati its not a Picasso! they will only go down further.

  6. Yep, well one that was acceptable and I am happy to take. Enough to clear the PCP after 2yrs (actually 22 months) and with 12k on the clock.

  7. Stay away from Riders of Cardiff, for a pristine May 13 skyhook 10500 miles they offered me £9200 against a new R1200S in April and today offered me £8600 against a demo R1200GS. The book value is £10,500 btw.

  8. What book value? The trade value I saw when I reasearched for my 13 plate Aug reg 12k skyhook was 9800, with sale price range 9500-11500

  9. They offered me £8100 for a 2014 vfr1200 with 2700 miles - they then upped it to £8500 but had to pay for all accessories to be fitted ( stand and grips - £150)

Hyside gave me £9150 and free fitting on accessories

    Definitely pays to shop around.

I was told they make £1250 on a multi at full retail

Hyside was happy to give me some of that on PX as he also says
PX was booking at £8100 to £8500

  10. PM me the dealer lol, could be tempted

  11. No need. WM Snells do a great deal. Will it be the cheapest bike? Probably not. Will it be a great experience and have other benefits? Defo :upyeah: athey know how to look after their base, not just the ones who spend stupid money on tuning etc but those who buy a 6k starter bike or a 50k superleggera.

  12. Thanks for the heads-up, i bought a 15m warranty from warranty direct but I have the jitters.

  13. Transferable warranty helped me get a good trade in. Remember Ducati are not supplying one at the minute..

  14. Stand corrected Bradders, £9800 is the correct trade in value and I was actually offered £8895 for mine, I got the new bike price wrong.

  15. I tried 3 at the time of order ... S model touring, Skyhook and all that.. told them at the time that it had 12k on the clock (cos planning trip across the water) though only had bout 9k ...Woods,Riders and Manchester....was originally offered 10 from riders around the same from woods but they hardly seemed interested and 11 from Man. No prizes for guessing where I went but when the time came 2 mths later ...ah revaluation ! what do you know! tried 9.5 ! then 10.5 but I stuck to guns and threatened to cancel order...though I did end up giving away the panniers and top box which I hadn't originally stated were there, didnt do trip either ..went with 9.2 on the clock...still got 11 but they did a little better than before.

  16. Dread to think what my 27k mile, 10 plate S is worth - I'm guessing a fish supper and the bus fare home from the dealers?

  17. I'd be asking for Curry Sauce on top ......... they can only say no :(

  18. When I looked at a KTM Adventure in Riders Cardiff they tried £6.7k for my 60 plate Touring with 14k on it. Told them where to stick that offer.

  19. TT, were you offered any better with another dealer for a KTM ?
