  1. As Brembo rear P2 calipers are going through the roof at the moment...my nickel plated one i bought a few years back cost me 300 quid delivered - i think theyre knocking on for 500 or so now...my mate has just ordered one of these....anyone tried one??

Piston size is 32mm to the Brembo's 34mm from what i can see...be interested to hear from anyone that has.

  2. The single 5* review based on replacing a Suzuki rear caliper isn’t, IMO, that much of an accolade. HEL are trying to offer a serious alternative to the current mainstream manufacturers but if you are putting it on a Ducati, you are not addressing the weakest link, cooking the brake fluid because of the location of the master cylinder and reservoir. I flashed for an upgraded Brembo rear caliper on the track bike and don’t actually remember using it. Just my thoughts mind :D Andy

  3. The hypers rear set up isnt brilliant but i was thinking of a hel rear master and caliper combo....2 reason is that they must be better than the oem and, im all about finishes....i want stuff to be resistant to the elements (its the one thing that eats bikes in the UK) my z1000 is all but recoated...the frame and motor are the only things that havent been....but as soon as the motor needs some serious work being done on it itll be going down to the crankcases for cerakoting....(must confess i didnt read the review!) didnt notice it...

This is for road use and while i dont use it that often now ive got something that works well, its nice to know its there if i need it...(on the zed that is) hyper is a bit more hit and miss...

  4. I have one that I need to fit which I realise doesn't help much, in the hand it looks and feels like a decent bit of kit. The finish looks good and it comes with stainless fittings. Give me a month or two and I might get round to popping it on. :)

What I can offer is that I just fitted their front brake and clutch masters and am very pleased with them. Quality is high and paint finish looks solid. I have M4's on the front so the 19mm master has really sharpened the braking over the stock.
