  1. Coming from a gen6 zx10r then a zh2se which had super smooth clutch/biting point are the pani clutchs just hard to live with ?
Grabby and near the end of lever biting point and just not smooth?
The zh2 was absolutely lovely compared to this lol
18 plate with only 1500 miles, got the 2mm clutch line , new brembo dot 4 fluid and new oberon slave as was getting air in through old one .
Lovely clutch pressure which doesn't go but pulling away in first at lights etc is not very nice lol
Maybe I just need to get use to it as even tried adjust the lever which doesn't make a difference so wondering if its just a ducati thing as obviously its not really a road bike

  2. I owned a 2018 V4 which I ran with the wet clutch for the run in period and then swapped for the dry clutch when I put it on the track. It’s been a while now since I sold it but my memory is telling me, yes the bite point is high on the lever much like my V4 Pikes Peak is. IIRC, the ‘18 MY first gear is quite tall, which makes pulling away from stationary more of a technique and one of the common things my workshop guys warned me of, don’t baby the clutch. Given the mileage of your bike, my gut response is, the clutch isn’t bedded in. I’m also pretty sure I dropped the front sprocket to 14 teeth which helped. It might be a V4 but like all Ducatis, you need to rev it :D Andy

  3. Have you bled the master cylinder at the master cylinder?

  4. Yes along with new fluid and slave as in post

  5. Clutches are clutches it what suits you sir? In line fours possibly smoother at low revs. Can't say for V4's. I've spoken to people who transition from a four to a v twin and they found it difficult in traffic. They can be modified, different spring ratings on the pressure plate or a more powerful slave cylinder if hydraulic? I had a surflex slipper clutch on my 748 which I found to be a pain in the arse. It was like an on/off switch at traffic lights. I put it back to standard, easier to live with. On the flip side , just get used to it.
