Hello! During the repair of my engine I decide to change the piston rings. After some search I concluded that there no alternative manufacturers for these rings. I got the prices (Ducati representative and online distributor) I decided to buy online. The parts arrived yesterday and I was surprised when I saw the piston rings not in the original ducati package , besides looking new. The seller told today that it is 100% original and came directly from the production line, without the original package (?! ) Anyway, the rings I received only have the mark "R" (1st and 2nd ring are equal) The ones installed have marked "GOES TOP". The 1st is not readable but the second has "GOES TOP2 F1". If you are you familiar with piston ring sets for monster 750/900 or supersport, the marks in the rings actually changed during the years? Is the 1st ring physically equal to the 2nd ring? ..in the manual scheme they are no equal... Thanks!
