Thinking about the worrying Nuclear threats being flippantly made currently, I got thinking ( also rather dangerous ) ... This is the scenario.. Armageddon is 1 hour away, it cannot be stopped, so what are you going to do, with you last hour?
For me.. I think it would be preparing my own little missile, with thoughts of off loading its payload somewhere preferably Scandinavian and beautiful, this is of course subject to having no malfunctions, I do however have some little tablets somewhere that I can add to the fuel tank to get it going in the first place, will probably need them too for mine is over 50 yrs old now.. obv I'm going to need help to get it uprite in the first place and then hope it launches ok , after that it's just praying that the warhead hits its target and at the right time! In other words that it doesn't go off too early. Other than that I might try to break the world record for building a nuclear shelter out of lego bricks! Failing that, quick cuppa, a few sleeping pills and get under my duvet.. hoping I'm well away zzzz before it hits... x
I'd like to think that I'd do something outrageous like go out on the bike and break every speed limit, or track down somebody I despise and make their last hour as rough as possible, or shag the best looking bird wherever I was at the time. In reality, I'd probably sit down with Mrs Nasher and a cup of tea, talk about our life, and be most upset that my two lads wouldn't have the chance to experience life like we had. Nasher.

We're supposedly not allowed to endorse extreme unrelenting violence upon anyone. Let alone my local conservative politician who see's usa_bigots as special friends. A friend so inline with the U.N. charter on maintaining peace that they've just threatened the entire population of DPRK with destruction. All 25million people' (if BBC didn't inform you, China has said it will not allow an attack to take place due to nuclear fallout) So in charismatic sarcasm; I'd really really like to hug & thank as many politicians for voicing their concerns & notably poke the eyes out of several of them for allowing such abhorrent behaviour to go unchallenged.
Depends on where I am. If I'm at home, I'd probably have to spend the hour consoling my wife. If I am at work, and on the bike, I would go for a ride. If I am at work and not on the bike, I am going to have a crappy hour with neither of the things I love. I’d probably jump in the canal by the office and have a nice relaxing float, eyes shut.
depends on the extinction event i guess, i would need to know this so i could prepare. i intend to survive.

Just worked it out, I could make my wife's work in just under an hour on the bike (from my work). It'd have to be a lid on and go, zero fannying around. It'd be a balls to the wall ride, probably get it down to 40-45 mins at a real push. Can Armageddon be in summer please
You have an hour to prepare mte.. the sirens are going, broadcasting is wall to wall, nuclear strikes in 60 mins, we have no defence due to extreme cutbacks by PM Corbin .. and the Scots are all down the pub by the way.... oh and Ryan air have cancelled all flights, because all their loo cleaners are on holiday..

What I want to know is how come most of the chimps ( that's actually unfair on chimps) of the world get to play with nuclear triggers.. trump putin wellhung-one or whatever he's called, Boris maybe one day soon, Bush Senior and Bush junior.. I mean all countries have really brilliant intelligent men and women to choose from and yet we get these idiots in charge and therefore holding us all to ransom?
yip, all v.intelligent,, personally i think intelligence is a curse, (but maybe for another day) the big red one aint the one they intend on pushing, its yours/our buttons there pushing. terrorist dirty bomb maybe, but all out nuclear war. cant see it myself.
