  1. Hi All,
    I have recently joined this site in the hope of finding a new home for my Cherished plate that I have. It is aimed at all you 999R lovers who can have the complete package with this one of a kind plate. Had to get did of my 999 due to divorce - BOOOOOO! But held onto the plate. Time has come to find a good home for it now so if anyone is interested then please message me. The plate is R999 DUK and looks fantastic when its on the bike. Due to health reasons I will never own a 999 again so this is the only reason I am letting this hard to find plate go.

  3. Bugger if it was R999 DUR I'd have ripped your arm off. Just out of interest what tyres did your 999 have and where did you fit the tax disc? I ask as thats the usual first posts of new members.

  4. Always makes me laugh when someone says a plate is hard to find or rare. Its exactly as hard to find as every other plate in existence. Theres one of them in the uk. Not saying its not valuable or anything but just always makes me smile.

  5. Hi, had a set of metzelers on which were really good, used them on all the Dukes I have had in the past. Tax disc was on the frame within the triangular section behind the spring and damper on the near side.

  8. The only awesome plate is one loaded up with lincolnshire sausages, lorne sausage, bacon. eggs, black puddin, fried haggis, eggs beans and toast and mug of tea...
