Just going back through a few old pictures and found these. This was my first Ducati and also my first "big" bike. A 600 Monster, and I loved it. Despite the reputation of dodgy electrics and being unreliable it never missed a beat. Ended up with some carbon side panels, tail tidy and headlamp brackets and a few other mods. It's still shown as MOT'd so wonder where it is now?!
I’ve a Multistrada DVT now. Via mostly Hondas, with the bike before the Multistrada being a Blackbird. I remember getting on the Monster after passing my test on an ER-5 and thinking how quick it felt. And the sound!!
Nice. My first bike was a 600ss back in 1999, on a M plate if I remember . Took it to the isle of man the following year with my dad on his big old laverda. A great trip.
