Guys Anything i need to watch out for when putting the charging leads on the bike? Just wary of anything going wrong when i put the leads on, will anything other than the mileage reset ? I can just disconnet the leads and put the lead on without issues?
If the DVT is the same as my 1st gen 1200, everything defaults to metric, Kph,km,Km/litre, the clock zeros and the DTC turns off. Andy
When I replaced the dealers charging leads with my own, I did not remove the main connections so no power was lost to the bike.
I did the same, just slipped the screws out and held the battery terminals on the bike while I connected the fly lead. No problems at all
