Hi, I bought a used bazzaz qs4 on ebay and I didn't ask about shift style. Now I have a gp style pull sensor. Is there any way I can use this one with normal shifting, or do I have to change my shifter and re-learn shifting? Is it worth going to gp style shifting, or do I just sell the unit and buy something else? Thanks!
I did the same with my 999. It was very confusing to begin with but after getting use to it i find it much better. Have to think hard when getting on different bike.
I heard people like it and I've also noticed times where it would be useful to upshift, my only fear is that I will downshift when i should go up and block the rear wheel But I guess i have to try it for a while first. If anyone has a push qs4 and is willing to trade, let me know
doesnt the bazazz sensor work both ways (i.e. push and pull?) on my track bike I can just reverse the linkage fwiw i prefer to run all my bikes race shift , it takes a bit of getting used to, you need to think ahead when you change gear
Unfortunately no, you have to buy a new sensor, apparently they dont have a switch anymore but its something else so you cant just reverse it. I will give it a go, maybe put a paper on my dash to keep reminding myself
