  1. I see Chris Evans has been announced as the presenter of the new Top Gesr series that will be recorded over the coming months. No news as to who will co present but I'm no longer interested. Andy

  2. The worst kept "secret" in TV history...
Top Gear is dead... dead, dead, dead...
Bring on Clarkson, Hammond & May - on whatever channel signs them...

  3. So much for "I don't want the job"...
    Ginger tw@t !

  4. Are the BBC so desperate that they pick a knob.

  5. Watched the TFI Friday they resurrected this week, like Knight Rider, The A Team and Street Hawk some things are best left as memories as watching them again shows the flaws you never noticed.
Needless to say the first couple of shows will get good ratings as everyone will want to see what it's like, wether it then goes on to echo its previous success remains to be seen, but I'm confident my little wager with billy hill is safe.

  6. I work at Dunsfold Park, be interesting to know if they're going to shoot the new stuff there. I'll ask one of the lads I work with who we poached from security, he's normally got the gossip.

  7. Duns folds in Evans' back yard and as he's still going to be doing his radio show I'd imagine for logistical reasons that will be a given. Watch out for the news that it will be filmed in Inverness now.

  8. Yes

  9. Something might work with bikes and cars, only to runined by the presenter. I think Alan Carr is co presenting to give balance

  10. Seems I'm against the grain on this one lads. I agree he used to be a knob, but I think he's mellowed out a little ( ...like his gingerness). His knowledge of cars is phenomenal and it is clear from his investments that the subject is a passion/obsession. Will be interesting to see how the whole thing pans out, hope he does well...

  11. I'm with Rosso on this. I also think Top Gear needed a change, it was getting a bit predictable. It needs fresh ideas and it was never going to get those with Kaiser Clarkson in charge.

  13. Andy Wilman had most of the ideas, and he's gone too. Never mind whose face fronts it - the question is who is going to produce it? And will they have anything between their ears?

  15. A tough gig to follow Clarkson etc, anything remotely the same will be rubbish as in reality it had become a sitcom about three bumbling idiots and you can't just change the cast.
Fingers crossed they might include the odd bike.

  16. They picked JC. They dont come any bigger.

  17. Having said that the BBC are so left wing and despise anything to do with motor sport they'll probably be happy to let it be rubbish. Never a mention of the TT or Le mans all we get is bloody football.
