  3. If it helps anyone, look out for Richard Feynman books on the subject. He had a knack of putting complicated subjects in a form that was much easier understood. His book, Six Easy Pieces and Six Not So Easy Pieces are very good. I have his full set of Physics books which I used extensively during my Engineering Degree. By far the best Physics text books you will ever find. The man was a genuine genius and affable with it.

  4. "You Must be Joking Mr Feynman" is a good light hearted read from a genuinely entertaining and modest man. It is no wonder that his students loved him.

  5. Absolutely!

His books are a great read, and like Stephen Hawkings, they contributed significantly to Physics throughput their whole career. Most peak at 25/26 then don't do much after that.

You can still catch the interview with him on youtube. It's a must watch.

Is this the Feynman u tube video you mentioned?

What an absolute pleasure it must have been to be one of his students.

I love to be educated in the style that made him popular, Him, Coxy , and Jim Alkalili are master communicators who have made a huge contribution, to not only their specialty fields, but the gift they have of sharing it with others.
