I had my honeymoon in Koh Samui near Big Bhudda Beach - £21 a night back in 1992. Not so cheap now! Looks lovely though!
Hired the only Harley on the island ( yamaharly) back in 2004.. took it up a mountain on some goat tracks and broke it .. The dude that hired it to me chased me all over the island for 2 days to get £16 off me... I thought it was funny, he had a price on my head!! ( About £5) Nice place though ...
Dont mess with the Thais! They might come across all zen and buddhist but when they blow they really fkn blow (I spent nearly a year out there on and off and did my TEFL course out there - amazing place great people and food!)
