I recently viewed a rather nice black panigale 1199, kitted out with Bitubo suspension, lots of CNC bits, full race termi system and lots of carbon fibre. I checked the bike out to find, there is outstanding finance, the dealer doesnt have the spare key nor the owners red card, none of which were mentioned to me by the salesperson. Just be careful if you view this bike, especially if your around the huddersfield area. Safe riding
did anyone ask why there is finance on it and where keys are ? could be the bike is a repo and last keeper wouldn hand over keys, dealer selling for finance company ? try asking. if legit I would factor in costs to replace keys ....ie does it require clocks and locks etc.if buying I would like to be in charge of handing over the finance companys payment direct to the f/company. you should ask before naming any company.....also salesman should have been more forthright with info ( maybe would have been if you were a buyer ) or maybe they were just going to stitch someone up ( its happened before ).
The dealers removed the bike until the correct paper work and keys are in place. I believe the bike was painted metallic black when first bought, must nicer looking than ducati's Matt black!!!. It's a cracking looking panigale, tricked out with Bitubo suspension, miles more adjustment than the ohlins fitted as standard to the S and R.
