  1. gonna be down in ayr next week for a few days. on holiday might be taking the bike, seeing as it's not to far from the boarder was thinking of popping over.
    first thing. is it safe? secondly wheres good for a run about the northern territories?

  5. Bloody ell' we have 5000 trying to storm Dover to the south and now Finm has implemented a northerly pincer manouvere. :Bawling:

  9. What kind of roads are you looking for and how far do you want to go ? Ayr to Englandshire is a run in itself.

    Down the western side of the Lakes and cut back through the centre over Hardknott is a possibility, just don't do it at the weekend. Or continue down and cut across via Coniston to Ambleside before turning north again.

    Then there is Hartside A686 Penrith to Alston before looping back north. A classic but sometimes overused route.

    In the Borders, you wouldn't need your passport, there is the A701 and A708 north from Moffat.
