At our tiny Co-Op, our "Big Issue" seller is back (with mask!). Now, the Co-Op strongly encourage you to pay with plastic by tapping and they have put the card limits up to I don't know what (I haven't yet discovered it) so, as usual, I carry no cash. Now, I am not against helping out and in the old days, I would normally buy a Big Issue to help. How she gets here, I have no idea, but her Merc is probably parked around the corner - but that is me being uncharitable! In the new cashless society days, how will beggars and Big Issue sellers make an income? Can anybody buy a card reader? The "pension-paid-in-cash" crusties are dying out... "Got any spare change, mate?" wil be replaced with, "Give us a swipe!"? "Tap me!"
Interesting. I used to walk across Finsbury Park every day but now I don't think that Big Issue sellers in Gloucestershire have caught up - unless she's not really a Big Issue seller!
Thx. That izettle card reader would appear to solve a problem that I've been tasked with looking into. You should be on commission!
