As the title states, I wanted to say a Big Thank You to Alec for taking the time to give me a walk through talk through of the mechanics and components which makes owning a Ducati so much fun. Im not technically minded however after purchasing a nice 748R I was wanting a professional second opinion as to the condition of the bike in a bid to save on a costly repair later down the line. Thankfully the bike has been well maintained and other than having the Alarm removed it required only a minor fettling like changing the Spark Plugs etc. I am perhaps one of the most awkward customers you can deal with, as I aim for perfection which is relatively scarce these days, either that or I have been unlucky. Alec knows his stuff, his attention to detail is second to none and the cost of the service left me with a big :biggrin: I thoroughly recommend Alec and I will be back without hesitation Heres a pic I took whilst I was at his garage in Kent:

Picked up my Hypermotard today as I had asked Alec at Ducati ProTeam to check over the valves and sort any that needed doing. The engine now runs really sweet and crisper than the day it came out of the factory! Excellent work, very quick turnaround and great service all round! If you're in the south Essex / east London / Kent area then you can't go wrong!
Alec is a real Gent. I had some issues with my old 749 ECU so he GAVE me three he had knocking about the workshop in case one was ok, and wouldnt take a penny, , turns out one was off there old 749 race bike so was just the job, proper top bloke
