  1. Bike Hire choice advice needed VFR 800 OR 1300GT

    Hiring a bike soon in Spain, Choice now is VFR800 Old pre 2014 or BMW 1300GT
    Comments are welcome if you have ridden either and particularly about the pillion comfort

  4. How bored do you want to be ? The VFR is a very capable bike but is never going to set the world on fire and it has balanced braking, apply the front and the bike applies the rear, apply the rear and the bike applies the front. Some people get on with it and some don't. I use the rear brake just to settle the bike and when slow riding so I hate the Honda set up with a passion. What can you say about the 1300GT ? At least it will have some poke and is a comfortable ride but I would check the seat height before choosing. Very personal opinion but I hope it helps. Andy
