Thinking of converting my 2002 998 to single seat arrangement as firstly I don't take passengers and secondly I think the combination of white/red colour adds to the overall look.My query is how much work is required?The other thing is there seems to be a lot of different types/styles of units for sale on e bay.Are some just a change depending on the year of manufacture and will they all fit?Lastly are they all "genuine" units or just something someone produced in his garden shed if you know what I mean!
Get a genuine one or reputable aftermarket and you should just be able to swap over the seat with front mount, the rear catch and the tail light and you're away. Maybe 30 minutes work. Then remove the pillion peg hangers if you've not already done it.
