anyone used these? i was looking into getting a pair for my 916 as i want to upgrade the airtubes but im not a fan of the bell mouth filters... cheers
I've got them. You need to drill the airbox to fit the frames but once fitted they are really easy to remove for cleaning, although being small get dirty quickly, quality built and should last forever.
I have them too, expensive but very good. Had foam filter that fitted over the inlets before and was never that happy with it.
There are alternatives; Ducationly - the source for Ducati Motorcycle accessories. We send to Australia and Worldwide. MWR AIRFILTERS I went through similar machinations with my bike, I can't use the over trump' ones as I have shower injectors. In the end I stayed stock with the addition of some piper cross filters. If/when some DP tubes come up that can take indicators and stock/piperX filters I'll re-consider.... Just don't like BMC style, looks restrictive and east to block IMO. Plus the whole project started to get close the cost of a nice set of forks or a few track days! If you want the look, perhaps covers?
