Show a bit of sensitivity will you We lost hilda ogden last night, I'm shocked that we haven't had a mass outpouring of grief on here so far, with her being one of us Gone too soon in my view, 90 is no age these days Condolences to Stan and the family. Put your mop away hilda, your work is done, rip, godspeed I'll raise a small bucket of Domestos tonight Oh and zimmerman, an over rated whining, nasal judas. Never liked him much
The lyrics written by Bob Dylan have always struck me as half-baked, pretentious waffle. And bad poetry. Maybe that's just me.
Pete, are you sure that someone hasnt swapped your collection of oasis long players and put them in the cardboard sleeves your dylan 78s were in?
Didnt like the folky protest dylan but blood on the tracks era was great till he got religion. I lost interest then. Saw him at Earls Court in 78 after he hadnt been in uk for 9 yrs and he blew me away. Seen him 3 or 4 times since and been disappointed.
Thanks for that. A representative example of trite, obvious, pretentious, half-baked drivel. The Nobel Literature Committee must have lost their marbles.
Apparently he changed his surname to Dylan in tribute to poet Dylan Thomas. A huge over-estimation of his abilities. Dylan ain't no Thomas.
Oh oh oh is it me babe, Is it me you're looking for....... Babe? An absolute timeless classic. Some on here who have dabbled with an acoustic guitar must have at some point banged out one of his scribblings.
what about this? just a few lines, thats quite relevant the now. FATHER, Mother, and Me Sister and Auntie say All the people like us are We, And every one else is They. And They live over the sea, While We live over the way, But – would you believe it? – They look upon We As only a sort of They !
Can't stand Dylan and this award is ludicrous. However the nobel prize for chemistry to Keith Richard is well deserved
