Bolt Size Please?

  1. Can some one tell me that the bolt size is that holds the 916 shock (lower) to the swing arm?
    Also is the insert on the other end a Ducati special?

    Or anyone have the pair to sell?

  2. The insert is a Ducati special. I bought one a few years ago - reasonable price but not sure if they are still available.
    Bolt: it's a long 8 or 10mm socket head jobbie.

  4. Have you a workshop manual to hand? They usually list sizes on the torque settings page.

  6. Pretty sure the bolt is a special too. IIRC the head is a reduced size and recesses into the swingarm. I bought the pair from Ducati a couple of years ago. Price was reasonable.
