Brake Caliper Service?

I've got a 1098R track bike which obviously gets some welly. I've just sent my calipers off to JHP in Coventry for a refresh. My brakes work ace but I thought that perhaps it was time for some TLC.
How often should this be done? Is there a 'schedule' for piston O-Ring renewal?
