Brake Lever Protector

  1. So it looks like its a requirement to have a brake lever protector fitted for UK track days. I dont know anything about these, are they universal? i.e will fit any bike? I have a 996 and a 1098, would be good to get one that fits both. Any recommendations for a good quality makes?

  2. Buy a universal for a 22mm bar, the expanding type. GB Racing and R&G do a basic one, Litech does an expensive one, avoid the Rizoma. Andy

  4. I measured the I/D of my 1098 and 749 bars the other day - both are 17.6mm.

  5. Will that size fit a 1299 do you know Andy ?

  6. At least one of the Panigales is threaded, sadly can't remember which one or if it's more than one (1199/1299/899/959). Maybe look on the Ducati web site under Accessories, it should say. Andy

  8. I’ve never bothered with one before either but with the new rules coming out I fitted this FullSix on my V4S today. Rather spiffing dontcha think??

    Not sure if one size fits all though. Depends on your bar diameter I guess....
