Sup my people's? I'm in the unfortunate position of just about to get some 5 spoke mags for the 748 and some new bembo ora discs ( and am about to pull the pin on some Bridgestone s22's) so I'm thinking of brake pads... any ideas?
I put these on the 996r sometime ago,not sure if they're the same brake caliper or not,EBC-FA322-4HH-X2.
I have used ebc in the past I can't say they were bad at all. There is still meat on the bembo pads I have st the min it's just with the new discs I'm thinking new pads. And I want the best. This bike is road only but not a garage queen. Money is not a prob.. well, it is but I want the best....
No reason not to at all. Just not sure what that is or if there is a better option. I don't even know what sintered means... do I need sintered? Am I spelling sintered correctly? Is it even a word? There is a word like That, that pertains to brakes....
No... just not riding it till it's back to its former glory.. which I t will be soon (ish) and it will be betterer
SBS are my favourites. 566HS or 706HF depending on whether your bike has the earlier brakes with a single pad retaining pin or the later brakes with 2 pins.
I'd go with the SA sintered. But give them a bell and check it's for your calipers, model, year etc. https://www.biketorqueracing.co.uk/...s.htm?make=ducati&model=748 biposto&year=1998
Yes you have spelt sintered correctly, yes there is a word like that and yes, amongst other applications, it pertains to brakes. I’m a Brembo fan boy and I prefer the SA sintered compound. Out if interest, a friend of mine was looking to change the front brake pads on his Multistrada DVT and side by side, the EBC pad area was about 20% smaller than the Brembo for the same size backing plate.
