Brake pads

  1. I have changed the brake pads on my multi 1200 less than a year ago and now they are nearly gone. I had put brembo pads but I can't say I was very happy with them. Has anyone got any recomendations for which ones to put on next?

  2. it more about distance than time with brakes, plus how you use them. Never had a problem with brembo pads here though. I used to say avoid EBC as they used to last well but your disks didnt, no idea these days as I stopped buying then eons ago. Which is the other thing you need to consider ie its probably better wear out pads than disks IMO.

  3. I'd recommend either Performance Friction 95 compound, or SBS sintered pads....the Dual Carbon compound is great for use on track focused bikes as they need a little heat to get maximun braking effect. PM me if you need either.......

  4. Interesting! My original Brembo pads are still fine at 14000 miles that included some track days. Almost all sintered pads tend to work well but are hard on the discs. EBC HH pads have worked well for me on other machines.
