Had a very special day today with a visit to the garages and a grid walk. After the restart following mayhem at Clearways, Shakey did the business and doing enough to take the championship into tomorrow. Shine slightly taken off the day by John Hopkins' bad crash in qualifying at Paddock Hill, the Moto Rapido boys and girls deserved a better end to their campaign. John had been top 4 from Friday right up until the crash. Looking forward to what could be a great days racing tomorrow. Oh yes, as posted elsewhere, we met James Ellison's mum who is a very nice lady . Andy
Racing was interesting for the first few laps, although once the tithe was there it was over. Shakey keeping it alive, but he really needed Ellison to do him a favour. Wtf was farmer up to?! And that spirit m2 should not be in the race imho.
They’re running the moto2 (it’s not involved in the championship) because no manufacturers are bringing out new 600’s so they’re considering moving to a moto2 type support series in the coming years
R6? Then they need another class. What if Seeley, who let’s face it is not worried about shoving people into walls as demonstrated at the NW200, took one the of the possible winners out at the front? It’s been the same argument all year, and I just don’t buy it. Spain run M2: develop it there.
